“Unlearn to swim is about a toxic friendship I had, where it was all about me giving and the other person taking and asking for more while overstepping my boundaries. It is about „the talk“ I should have had with them to tell this person how it felt for me. This talk never really happened because I was to scared of the confrontation so I wrote this song to get it off my chest. In the beginning I planned to have this song as the title track of the record because it means so much to me. I think in the context of the EP it might still be my favorite. Still this EP is called Closer because I have so many good things in my life happening right now and I wanted to reflect some more positive feelings with the records name and title track.”

Scholastika Febi assisted by her friends in the process of making this video clip was carried out in Surakarta Indonesia, while the discussion between her and I Shiver took place online on social media platforms.
